Hi, I’m Luke Ridge
I own Koala Coats Painting, and I’ve been painting homes for more than 16 years. These days that means houses in Kelowna, West Kelowna and up and down the Okanagan.
Koala Coats is a boutique painting company, and that’s on purpose. Big outfits can’t give every job the owner’s eye. I can. I quote your project myself, I’m around to answer questions while the work is happening, and I walk through the finished job with you.
Boutique attention, start to finish
What does that actually look like? Your home gets treated like it matters, because to me it does. Floors and furniture get covered before anything opens. Edges are cut clean. And nobody calls it done until you’ve seen it and you’re happy.
The part nobody sees is the part that matters most. Prep. Cabinets get cleaned, degreased and sanded before any paint goes on, then sprayed for a smooth, factory-like finish. Exteriors get properly cleaned and prepped so the weather-resistant paint holds up through a hot Okanagan summer and a snowy winter. Skip the prep and you’re repainting in a few years. I don’t skip it.

What I paint
Three things, mostly: interior painting, exterior painting, and cabinet painting and refinishing. Walls, trim, doors, siding, kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities.
How a job works
- Free consultation. We talk about the project and what you’re picturing, and I look at the space.
- Detailed estimate. A clear price with no hidden fees. I’ll walk you through exactly what’s included.
- The work. Your home is protected, the work starts when we said it would, and you’re kept posted as it goes.
- Final walkthrough. We go over everything together before the job is called done.

Koala Coats Painting is fully licensed and insured, and every job comes with my quality guarantee. I work across Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Vernon, Summerland, Penticton and Okanagan Falls, Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
